Alienware M17x Nebula Red Special Edition

Alienware has announced new version of its already released M17x gaming laptop. The original M17x laptop was released at E3 expo last month. While Dell is trying to set new benchmarks in budget computing market, Alienware is releasing top-of-the-market gaming notebooks. If price is not a concern for you, Alienware is your dream place to be at.

The original M17x was priced at around $1799. New Nebula Red Edition features anodized aluminium body. Core gaming configuration of the notebook is maintained as it is. M17x Nebula also features a backlit keyboard that lights up with red border matching perfectly with red “Flair”.  This Flair will cost you about $99 extra. The red-tinted version of the notebook will be available only in the US. No information is available on customization option of the UK model.

The M17x is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Extreme Quad-Core processor. The heart of this machine lies within single or dual 1GB NDIVIA GeForce GTX 280M graphics cards. M17x Nebula Edition also features 4 to 8GB of DDR3 memory and 250GB to 1TB internal hard disk space along with 512GB of SSD storage. Performance of this beast will improve tremendously as you add graphic cards and SSD memory as per Alienware customized purchase option.

The Alienware killer machine features DVD writer which is upgradable Blu-Ray drive, 17″ glass LCD display supporting 1920×1200 native resolution. 4xUSB2.0 ports, eSATA, Firewire 400, Multi-card reader, DisplayPort, VGA + surround sound and HDMI ports are also available.
