An adaptor plug allows us to only plug in our appliances into another type of outlet. An adaptor is an instrument whose function is to convert attributes of one device or system to those of an otherwise incompatible device or system. So basically an adaptor lets us charge devices even though they are incompatible but while doing so it does not change the electrical voltage.
