Dell Studio XPS-122B

Dell’s Studio XPS-122B is significantly a display for Intel’s comparatively latest Core i7 desktop processors. It starts with a price of $999 and surprisingly gives all the features which are needed with this pricing. This model is superb at multitasking and multithreaded application performance. Though it does have certain frills, any individual searching for raw computing power will get more content with this all new off-the-shelf computer.  Reviewing this new Dell Studio XPS was very attractive and interesting. One may not show this model off for its appearance but its plastic shiny exterior won’t definitely look bad on your decors. On the front side panel there is a pair of optical drive bays i.e. one empty and other with DVD burner. Beneath them there is a small door which slides downwards to reveal the media/ memory card reader, audio ports, a FireWire input and four USB drives. Dell comes with a 512MB Radeon HD 4850 graphics card which is acceptable enough for common PC games.

Summarizing Studio XPS -122B, one spare hard drive slot, rear inputs for an eSATA hard drive and an Optical S/PDIF audio port. Additions like a wireless networking, a TV tuner, a Blu ray drive or HDMI output were missing. This system is built for performance rather than being a showpiece in your living room. The advantage of buying a Dell product is the goodies one gets even after purchasing the item which include one year standard support for parts and labor, 24×7 technical phone support and a website offering all the collection of tools and accessories needed.
