Differentiate between Ink and toner

Ink and toner are two different things used in printers with the computers. Ink and toner are both easy to use and refill but vary in the out put that they give on papers. When you write with pen or use a paint brush to write or make images it is just like using ink. And toner is when you use pressure and heat to show the out put of what you have written or printed.

With ink the printer sprays the ink through a nozzle and applies heat to make it adhere to the paper. With the toner when the electric current is passed the powder in the toner is splashed and the printer burn the powder to make the desired the image. The process seems to take long, but it is done in fraction of seconds. When using printers with ink cartridges you have to refill it after printing thousands of papers, but the printer with the toner runs longer. You need to refill the ink in the cartridges and not replace he cartridges. But in the toner cartridges you have to replace the bottles after one or two refilling.

Ink is used in ink jet printers and there is a chance of its smudging. The toner is used in laser printers. Form of ink is liquid whereas toner is powder made from blending carbon with polymers. Ink can be used in pens but toners are used only in printing. This was all about inks and toners.
