Epson has taken product promotion to a new high by coming up with a PlayStation 3 gaming rig that allows you to play anywhere you can find a flat surface.
With its own power supply, the rig has a thin PS3, and an Epson projector that can convert any wall into a gaming platform. The overdressed “Extreme Gamer,” attired in gray overalls, protective goggles, wrist guards, elbow and knee pads, and a strong helmet, portrays extreme gaming addiction by playing a game non-stop.
In this advert for the Epson’s EH-TW450 projector, the hero wears the company’s 3LCD 720p machine on his chest, splaying its output across building walls, club ceilings and other places, while furiously tapping on a controller for the PS3 strapped around his back.
Leaving aside the hype and the promotional tactics, let’s come back to what the EH-TW450 really is. It is basically a a high-performance projector that can put out six times the display size of a 52-inch flat screen television.
We’re still unsure whether it can be used with a Wii or any other gaming console apart from PS3. There are other parameters to consider as well such as its life cycle, cost, etc. You can find more information about this projector here.
