Successfully following the footsteps of its predecessor, Fit-PC1, Compulab have made a lot of progress since then and have gone on to design the Fit-PC2, which is a fitting competition to the Acer Aspire Revo.
This small little thing comes equipped with an Intel Atom processor. You can choose the Atom Z530 (1.6 GHz) or the Atom Z510 (1.1 GHz).

- Storage space- There is a 2.5 inch bay for SATA HDD; in addition to this a mini-SD card slot is also provided.
- The Fit-PC2 comes with a US15W SCH Intel chipset.
- Graphics- Uses Intel GMA500 graphics acceleration; capable of complete hardware video acceleration of MPEG2, WMV9, H.264 and VC1
- Display and Audio- DVI digital output of 1920X1080 using HDMI connector; Provides High-definition audio, there is a provision for line-in, line-out and mic
- Connectivity- Can handle wired as well as wireless networks; supports 1000 Base T Ethernet as well as 802.11g WLAN.

Operating Systems- The Fit-PC2 comes pre-installed with Windows XP Home (SP3) and Ubuntu Linux 8.04; the user is free to install any other operating systems.
The dimensions of the machine are 10.1 X 11.5 X 2.7 cm and it weighs around 370 grams.
The outer case of the machine is made of 100% Aluminium and there is a provision for dispersing the heat and so a cooling fan is not needed.
Final Word:
The WLAN connection ability, the HD output port, low power consumption, enhanced performance and a whole lot of other advanced features make the Fit-PC2 a more than handy nettop. Compulab have done a fantastic job in designing this master-piece and they deserve all the accolades. With the prices starting from $250, this is a must-buy for its end-users.
