Gadget Reviews- Stuff you never heard of before

For today’s features, we bring you some of the more unusual gadgets recently introduced in the market. Ever heard of wireless speakers, an all-in-one touchscreen PC, or a laptop trackpad that was also a display? No? Well, they’re real, and they’re here.

AQ Wireless Outdoor Speakers

Yes, they’re for outdoors, and yes again, they’re wireless. Isn’t that special? Someone claiming to provide you with good quality outdoor speakers alone is great news in itself — how many times have you been disappointed at the poor sound quality in your regular average outdoor speakers? You add wireless capabilities to them, and you get the perfect combination.

So not only do you get amazing sound outside, but also the added the advantage of no one ever tripping on the wires in your backyard. But wait, there’s more: the speakers are waterproof, and have a sleek futuristic design that will make your guests gape at it wondering what in the world did you bring home.

MSI’s Wind Top AE1900 all-in-one PC

This 18.5″ touchscreen PC is MSI’s latest introduction on the wide array or computers on the market. MSI is usually considered to be quite secretive when it comes to disclosing the price of their upcoming products early on. They usually prefer to keep the pricing details to themselves until right before the launch. This time, however, things have been different. The sleek and beautiful Wind Top is available for $529.00, and sports an Intel Atom 230 or 330 CPU. The rest of the specifics are as follows:

  • 1366 x 768 resolution touchscreen
  • Integrated GMA 950 graphics
  • 2 GB DDR2-533 RAM
  • 160 GB or 250GB hard drive

Mebius PC-NJ70A with LCD trackpad

We bet this is something you may have never heard of before — a trackpad that is also a screen. Sharp’s Mebius PC-NJ70A features a trackpad that serves as a secondary display. This trackpad supports a resolution of 854 x 480. The display is also able to adjust its brightness as per the surrounding light.

However, we must admit, the rest of this netbook is pretty mundane. It has a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600, a 1.6 GHz Atom N270 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 160 GB hard disk. Some other features include 3 USB 2.0 ports, Wifi, and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a multicard reader.
