Ink toners are used to refill the laser printers when they run out of the so called ‘ink.’ Here, we emphasize on the word ink because the ink user in toner cartridges and laser printers is not ink in the traditional sense. It is made up of a material called toner composing of plastic, colour, etc. This technology helps in making high quality prints due to the glossy texture of the toner. There are many more features of the ink toners that make them more acceptable among professionals and well informed home users.
Toner, the chief material used in the procedure, is relatively cheap with regards to ink used in the inkjet printers. In fact, ink mentioned here has gone on to become one of the most costly liquids on planet earth whose pricing has been compared to that of oil. Hence, although laser printers might be relatively higher priced when compared with inkjet printers, they are cheaper technology with regards to the fact that the toner used regularly to refill the former is cheaper than the ink user on the latter. The technology here also differs a lot. However, that is not to be concerned about since, in the end, the user is treated to high quality and magazine style gloss on their prints.
Brother toner, InfoTech toner, Kyocera toner, etc. are some of the well known brand involved in the production of high quality and reliable toner refills. They tend to be higher priced though.
