LG GC990 Louvre

The details of LG’s new touchscreen featurephone have leaked over the internet. The GC990 Louvre features an amazing 12.1MP camera which is good enough to beat any point-and-shoot digicam available in the market. The mobile, not yet officially announced by LG is expected to be out in market in late 2009. The product was first displayed at a product exhibit in Korea. LG have repeatedly denied the reports of the alleged release information. LG has tried to shrug off the rumours by stating that the device is just a “concept”.

The camera can shoot HD videos up to 720p at 30fps and is well-equipped with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, Xenon flash and auto focus technology. The camera is believed to support up to ISO 3200 with higher ISO sensitivity settings. This makes the mobile one of the best camera-phones available now in the market. The phone features a 3.2-inch multi-touch enabled 16 million colour- touchscreen to handle all operations. The phone features the S-Class Touch UI. The phone also features an accelerometer sensor for better display sensing.

Other premium features include a built-in GPS system, Bluetooth 2.1 support, and Wi-Fi network connectivity. The phone will support popular video formats like Xvid and DivX along with all other famous audio/video formats. Even though LG has claimed the product to be just a “concept”, many experts are having a hard time believing so.

The inside information obtained from reliable third-party cell phone manufacturers also suggests that the new LG device is not just a “concept”.
