The optical mouse use light and laser beams to record the information where the pointer passes over. It supports wired connectivity technology. With this mouse the LED (light emitting diode) detects the movements optically on the pc. The LED is usually present under the mouse and the movements can be detected without moving any of the inner parts like it does in mechanical mouse.
