It consists of a head unit, which includes 5-disc changers and an amplifier; a rear speaker amplifier, which wirelessly transmits audio to the 2 rear speakers; and 5 surround sound speakers with a subwoofer. The front speakers can be attached to the floor stands that are provided, or it could be wall-mounted. The center speaker is around 10.5 inches wide, and the surround speakers are about 5.5 inches tall.
It is very easy to implement the setup menus and the speaker calibration. The remote that comes along allows you to adjust the volume of each speaker, and also the subwoofer’s volume. Panasonic provides an EQ control with Flat, Heavy, Clear, and Soft options.
It also comes with a flip-down iPod dock that is very convenient. However, the compatibility is restricted to fourth generation or later models of iPod. You can use the remote to navigate through the song list, playlist, and artists on your iPod that is displayed – thanks to Panasonic’s onscreen interface.
Though this 5.1-channel home theater does not look very appealing, it has a lot of features packed in it, and comes for a much lesser cost. It is a wonderful system for those who do not want to invest a huge amount on an audio system.
