The Samsung Jack is the successor of the Samsung BlackJack series. It has an update look to it and some additional features and enhancements too. It has the fast processor and better camera. The cost of the mobile phone is $99 and it comes along with a two year contract. The feel of the keyboard is very slick. There may be minor issues but overall the look, feel and features of the Samsung Jack are really good. It is one mobile to be considered good in today’s market.
The Samsung Jack is 2.4 inches wide, 0.5 inches thick and it weighs 3.5 ounces. It has tapered edges and round corners. It has a good and an elegant look overall. It has 2.4 inch TFt screen which shows 65.000 colors. The resolution of the screen is 320×240-pixel. It is very bright and clear too. The Jack does not have a touch screen. You will get to see two soft keys, a back button and Talk and End keys. It also has a four way directional keypad.
The Samsung Jack has a added feature namely the Turbo Scroll. The Turbo Scroll helps you to scroll the entire page quickly through the text. There are no complaints about the layout and control keys.
Though the company includes the audio adapter in the box, the Samsung Jack still uses its proprietary power or headset port. Overall we can conclude that the Samsung Jack is a nice mobile phone to use because of its style, features, navigation and elegant look. The Samsung Jack comes along with the AC adapter, USB port and a 3.5mm headset adapter. You will also get a software cd and reference material. As tested, the quality of Samsung Jack is excellent and the voice quality, call and speakers is also good. The Samsung Jack gets extra power from the 528MHz processor and 256MB ROM and 256MB RAM. The GPS is also very useful for fidning any location with accurate directions. A good handset in all terms.
