A standard row of touch-sensitive media control buttons are present above the keyboard and the volume controls are placed above the num pad. The Vaio AW125J/H is perfect for Blue-ray or other HD content as the 18.4-inch wide-screen LCD offers a 1920*1080 resolution which is same as HDTV display.
The fixed-configuration Vaio AW125J/H comes with a 2.26 Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU which is slightly slower than others. However Sony has managed to offer 4 GB DDR II SDRAM which makes it work bit faster.
The Blu-ray playback and the gaming becomes an excellent experience with the help of 512MB Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT which brings in excellent resolution. Plenty of softwares like, photo and video editing, media playback software are loaded along with Vaio AW125J/H.
The inclusion of Sony Memory Stick and a Compact Flash slot in Vaio AW125J/H makes it a better companion for professional photographers. The battery backup of Vaio AW125J/H is around 1 hour 53 minutes which is not so impressive. But still, huge systems like this spend most of their in single location and battery life is not a big factor.
