Anyone who has ever been stuck in a traffic jam for hours will appreciate that there are vehicles that can beat all of that boring waiting. The Orbis is a single wheeled vehicle that has an internal motor inside the wheel. The great thing is that this little beauty can go at up to 22 kph and only ways 25 pounds so once it is folded it is easy to pack it away and carry it to the office. A clever idea that was once used with the Segway machine but this one can run on roads too. It is so well stabilized that it can actually stand upright on its own on just the one wheel so there will be no unicycle lessons for this one!
For something completely odd how about using batteries that recharge using your urine. Yes, that is not a printing error. Magnesium and carbon inside the battery reacts to the urine and pumps out power. The only trouble that anyone could think of is just how does the unmentionable get into the battery? Well, they do supply a pipette of tiny proportions with the batteries, but methinks that many would not like the thought of fussing around with the liquid matter to get the batteries charged!
