Their performance has been exemplary although at a higher cost than that of any other computer available for home and personal users. The iPod was no different with regards to the company’s style of pricing and design.
It is a phenomenon today for all the same reasons as the Mc and such Apple products are a phenomenon. The price is high enough to guarantee high quality and reliability with a status symbol. Along with that, the style and exterior design broke the trends of other such products. They always emphasized on complexity and fancy showoffs. The iPod was none of this, with a sleek white exterior looking almost like a deck of cards with softened corners; it was a hit among users for its simplicity and subtlety.
Not many have been able to duplicate or even spin off successfully the way Apple has done so with the iPod Mac. To add to that, there is a wide variety of iPod accessories which add to the beauty and quality of multimedia experience they provide. As the years passed by, the iPod has moved on from being a digital music player to a complete multimedia hub through the introduction of video playback facilities and even games that can be played on some iPods. This has guaranteed continued satisfaction from the Apple fans and users.
