 SanDisk V-Mate Recording + Recovery

The SanDisk V-Mate basically lets analogue video be converted directly into digital format and onto flash memory cards which include; SD (Secure Digital), Micro SDHC (Micro Secure Digital High Capacity), Mini SDHC, MMC (multimedia card), Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick Pro Duo. Also you can record off-air, cable, or satellite TV programs just like a VCR is capable of doing. If you plug your analogue video/audio cables into the back of the SanDisk box and then place a flash memory card into a corresponding front slot, just choose your settings and then you're ready to go digital. Its possible to record MPEG-4 video in several levels of quality and resolution by choosing a specific format that's perfect for viewing and sharing on your digital device. The V-Mate records the video's at 640 x 480, consequently being perfect for any of the portable media players on the market. There is a recording menu which can guide you through processes on the V-Mate in-case you are unsure about them.

To program the box you can use a TV-based interface which lets you record, adjust the control settings, and access content. The V-Mate also includes an infrared emitter. This automatically turns on the TV's tuner box (cable/satellite/terrestrial receiver or VCR) and select the right channel when it's programmed to record. It can be connected to your computer via a mini-USB connection.
