Kingston 16GB Ultimate 266x CompactFlash HIGH [CF/16GB-U2] All I can say is I ordered this two days before I went on holiday and it came the next day I put it in my camera as I turned it on it asked to format it so I did and remembering formatting my old 1GB card it took forever, this 16 times larger took 15 seconds so thought it had not so did it again and in 5 seconds it had reformatted, on holiday I spent 10 days trying to fill the card with very high definition images got to 8,500 and it was only half full went threw more battery charges than enough, the card accepted the image so fast than ever before so could also do multi frame exposures so fast it was unbelievable. I purchased this Compact Flash memory card because it is faster than my previous cards, which were all I could afford at the time. At 266X this is twice the speed of my previous cards and I don't get the delay between shots that I used to. It would be nice to try one of the very high speed CF cards but they haven't come down in price yet so this one will do me very nicely thanks. I can definitely recommend this Compact Flash card.

I already reviewed this card and liked it so much I bought another one. Both are giving excellent service and I really am happy with quality and performance. THe original review was:- This looks like a well made and nicely finished card. It comes with free recovery software and thats a bonus. When you think what you would have paid for a slow card of this capacity a year or so ago, it looks like a bargain and its a top of the range 266x card. I bought two and both working nicely.

not one for writing reviews but here goes Iam a professional fight photographer shooting on two canon 7ds I own many different makes of compact flash cards many of them being sold as "PRO" cards with a "PRO CARD PRICE TAG" I thiught i'd give the kingston ones a wirl admittedly based on price. HOWEVER after a promt delivery i took them to work with me that night. I cant scientifically say they have speeded up my camera but they sure as hell feel like they have. They are 100 times better than anything that has cost me 10 times as much in my camera bag and i wont be using anything else from now and thats a fact. if you dont me believe me go to the mma section of my website wwwp4pphotos.ifp3.com and view the photos fromm X FIGHTER Dont waste time and more on overpriced overhyped big brand names. This looks like a well made and nicely finished card. It comes with free recovery software and thats a bonus. If you go buy a top notch camera you really need to notch memory to go with it, using zoombits meant that it was a reasonable price while getting the best. for sure I'll be back for more before my next expedition. a modern slr with video mode uses a lot of memory, and it has to be fast to keep up, thats why I insist on Kingston but it's not cheap - coming here was certainly helpfull and fast.
